The Wings of Yarn Prayer Shawl Ministry was formed in 2007 and has become a source of comfort to others in need. The goal of this ministry is to create shawls and blankets for those suffering from illness or loss as well as those celebrating joyful events. The members meet monthly to crochet and knit their project. Upon completion of the items, a final blessing is offered before the shawl or blanket is presented.
